The first teaser trailer for Quentin Tarantino‘s Django Unchained will be shown in front of Prometheus. Given the huge anticipation and hype behind Ridley Scott‘s return to sci-fi, it makes a lot of sense for The Weinstein Co. to take advantage of this and promote their biggest release of the year. After showing a well-received seven minute preview at Cannes that surely has increased the buzz around the film, it will be interesting to see how much this teaser will actually reveal about the film. Considering the trend of recent trailer releases, it would not be surprising if this hits the net the very same day. We’ll be sure to bring you the trailer and our thoughts on it as soon as it becomes available.
