The first official trailer for John Hillcoat‘s Lawless was released today via Yahoo Movies. We previously brought you a first-look at Tom Hardy and Shia LaBeouf in the film via a set of official stills released by The Weinstein Company. Lawless is centered around the story of the bootlegging Bondurant brothers in Prohibition-era Virginia. The film is set to premiere at the Festival de Cannes in May and is scheduled for release in theaters on August 31, 2012. Check out the trailer below:
