More news has been coming from Marvel Studios and Disney as the cast for Iron Man 3 is being finalized. The film, directed by Shane Black (Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang), will likely be based on “Iron Man: Extremis” in which the focus is on a virus that spreads through nanotechnology. Guy Pearce (Prometheus) joins the cast as Aldrich Killian, a geneticist who co-creates Extremis technology. Robert Downey Jr returns as Tony Stark along with Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle and Scarlett Johansson reprising their respective roles. Production is expected to begin in May with the film scheduled to be released on May 3, 2013.
